This site traces both my wife's and my family history. Namely the Leighton (Leiner) and Romanis families. There are a lot of old surnames covered in this site including Kastelan, Jona, Klein on my side and Moffatt, Kelly and Petrie on Leisl's side. I have set up this web site in order to make an accessible record of the work which my father, Henry Leighton, has been compiling for over 30 years. It is also for my father-in-law, James Romanis, who did not really know his family apart from his father.
